All plates and platters are manufactured using 3/8" or thicker glass, giving them a truly substantial feel and providing a wonderful medium to show off the rich, handcrafted textures. The added thickness also provides durability for years of enjoyment. Remember, all glass is lead-free and made in the USA. Especially dramatic is the Extra Heavy series, which features plate thicknesses of up to 2", and overall heights up to 3 1/2"!
